About ready to split the case on my 1967 Dream to fix the kick-starter ratchet.
Anything I should watch out for when separating the halves? Anything going to fall out?
It looks like standard practice is to turn the case upside down to split it?
Never split a case before!

Crank and gears should stay in the top (on the bottom ) half. If it looks like it is going to take force, stop and look for screws that you haven't undone.

DAMN those case halves don't want to split!
I read that Honda used a glue to join the case halves - is that true????

Have you got the two M8 nuts that are through the top case, in the valley? There are some M6 bolts on the underside that often get hidden in the dirt between fins...

Close - Hondabond. You're going to need a tube for when you reassemble.

Thanks G-Man - I missed those two!
With the two sneaky nuts off, it came apart slick as could be!

Glad you got that sorted.
Patience is your friend. Brute force less so...... :-)
