CA vs CB Rotor

Post by davomoto » Sat Feb 04, 2012 2:36 pm

I am working on a Dream for fellow member Jerrybb. It has a 180 crank installed, but a C72 rotor with only one set of timing marks. Will the CB72 rotor swap out so it'll have two sets of timing marks? Hopefully someone will know before I dismantle the right side. They have the same O.D.

Thanks, Davo

Yes, you must use the type 1 or 180 deg rotor. Just make sure the TDC mark lines up with stator when piston is at top. And check the total timing with a strobe timing light.
