If I do go down this road, where do I get metric screws to replace them then? I would need two screws to go in after...

Be careful just to drill the screw heads off though.

Also, how does the brake lever come off once I get the bolts drilled? I ask as it looks like it has a huge square bolt on the end of it...

Thanks Mike, I appreciate that... I will send you a PM when I know which bolts I need (3 in total actually).

So I got them all off with a screw remover... Now, how do I get the kick-start rod off to get the casing off?! Anyone? Diagrams always help if its complex.

The kick starter comes off with the side cover. Like Kramer say's you have to jiggle it!

So, I got it off, mounted the bracket and put the side cover back on...
then I losened the bolt below the giant screw, turned the screw to the right until it locked, then I tightened the bolt to secure the position of the giant bolt... I added length to both the lever and to the part that goes in the motor, put it into first, and still the same problem... Its not allowing me to clutch in when I roll back and forth with the clutch in (in 1st gear).

Help!?

See pics...

Im wondering if the clutch lever inside the casing how to be mounted in a particular way!? I just put it back in on the rod... thats all, was I supossed to ensure it was on something else? I guess im starting to question whats wrong here.

here is a picture of the inside of the cover,The number 1 points to the bolt comining from the out side of the case,The number II is the retainer (clamp) that it threads into. Make sure you have a 5/16 inch ball in the hole indicated by III. JK[img]
