new to forum need help
updateHi, Worked on bike this weekend. followed all suggestion. I had the bike running and idleing pretty good, but dont think i have the points right. Need to find out how to set the points?
Re: timingIf you do not see the yellow/gold column to the left of your screen then you must go to the Honda305 home page http://www.honda305.com/index.html and then click on the link to the Forum. Joel, rotate the rotor c/w using a vise-grip on the bolt head; at the exact point that 'F' on the rotor aligns with the pointer on the stator then the points' facings should just part. Remove the plugs to make the rotation easier and more stable. Go here, click FAQ in the left (yellow) pane and then click "How do I tune my factory stock motor on my CB72/77 or CL72/77 for optimum performance?" for Ed's Recipe. For a CA, this thread breaks it down quite nicely!
