new to forum need help

Hi, Worked on bike this weekend. followed all suggestion. I had the bike running and idleing pretty good, but dont think i have the points right. Need to find out how to set the points?

I read earlier in this post that the points will be open at "F"......
I have read many many many places that the points will begin to open at "F".. not be fully open...??????
Any feedback?

·No I havent found a faq area on the site.

If you do not see the yellow/gold column to the left of your screen then you must go to the Honda305 home page http://www.honda305.com/index.html and then click on the link to the Forum. The column with all the links should appear on the left of your screen after that. Good luck . Jeff

Joel, rotate the rotor c/w using a vise-grip on the bolt head; at the exact point that 'F' on the rotor aligns with the pointer on the stator then the points' facings should just part.

Remove the plugs to make the rotation easier and more stable.
