On page 10 of the 1960 “This Is Honda” brochure, there is a picture of a CS72 with whitewalls. Not a ’61, but seems like an indicator. Pages 60 and 61 of Bill Silver’s Honda Buyer’s Guide shows pictures of ‘60 and ’62 CS77’s that both have whitewalls. I can’t say whether these are “Honda” factory pictures, but Bill is a detail guy and I think you can assume they are another indicator of whitewalls being OEM. I didn’t look through everything on the CD, but did take a quick look at a couple of obvious places to help with your question. You should get his CD if you don't have it. Hope this is helpful.
