Motor building stand

Post by eyedragaknee » Sat Jan 17, 2009 10:53 pm

FYI if interested. Mounts to botton engine mount on oil pump and back 2 engine mt holes. Works great so far.

1" square tubing with (4) 1/4" x 1" uprights.

Beats the crap out of rolling it around on a bench.

Mount that baby to a boat seat swivel on the work bench and that would be sweet. I've found the need to rotate the assembly alot and that would work awesome.

That plate is the top of one of my roll around bike build stands, I just spin the whole mess around. Once you get the trans and crank in and bolt the halves together, it works fine for everything else.

Nice work! What process did you use to clean your crankcase halves? --Randall
