Welding the seat bracket

Post by NN7X » Mon Jul 30, 2018 6:47 pm

After too long of a break I'm finally getting back to my 67 CL 77 .
Need to figure out dimensions for welding the seat bracket back onto the frame...
Have looked at lots of pictures but would like to see one up close and put a tape measure on it....
Thoughts and comments always welcome..

Why not just attach the seat base to it to give you the location, then tack it in position.

...posted my question before I spent enough time thinking....
Mocked up with tank and seat in place and answered my own question.
Frame and parts are off to blast and powder coat.

Thanks Geoff
