New acquistion

Post by MoonDream » Sun Jan 27, 2008 9:39 am

Hi I am usually on the CA77 forum but last night we bought a Dream on Ebay that included a 67-68 Scrambler..so my husband is thrilled to work on that..now I have 3 CA77 Dreams to fix..well I wanted a Dream of each color but wanted differnt models..maybe I'll see if I can work a trade for an "early" model when I get them all together..will I live that long at 66? I plan on it. ANYWAY, I am posting a pic of the Scrambler for the listing and would just like an opinion of what you guys think of the deal..thanks

Forgot to say we paid $1200 for the pair..the CA 77 is complete (mufflers not original) but running and otherwise complete rider.

That Cl looks fairly straight, is it stuck? You got a good deal on that pair for sure, good luck.

The only thing I can think of is maybe Bill Silvers means Ethanol. I know many older motors have a hard time shutting off when they run on ethanol, it also will do some fun stuff to the carbs. As for parts, ebay is where most people start for everything. If there's anything specific, post a Wanted add here. Then try Craigslist and swapmeets. The swapmeets will almost allways have what you need, just at a higher price.
Good luck
