Imagine the traffic if everyone that posts here had the opportunity to host his pictures here and not being sent flickr...
The downside of posting pictures on this site is that they disappear after some time. I have spent some time in the archives and only thumbnails survive for many of the pictures. Presumably the pictures get pruned to save disk space. Although I don't much like having to keep pictures on another site like Flicker, it does remain a reliable option. As long as Google doesn't get as greedy as Photobucket anyway.

In my case, I have a vast quantity of my pictures on my Flickr page and only use a small proportion of them on this site. We may have to start paying a subscription so that the site can fund more storage space. G
