Yes.

It's just JB Weld so I figure if it pops again I can just grind it off again.

Honestly - the bike is ridden less than 1000 miles a year....I'm hoping this bulb lasts quite a few years :)

I tried the local salvage yard, but they would not help unless I told them exactly which vehicle had the holders I wanted. I didn't know, so I went back to the Internet and found some for an old Ford truck light retrofit.

The bulb holder was made to be installed inside the headlight bucket with the bulb held opposite the normal way. I had to drill it out so that the bulb would fit through it.
Do you have a part number for those bulb holders? Where did you get yours at? I tried flebay last night for two hours, but couldn't find anything...
Thanks

This is a nice conversion but 55/60W is almost twice what the CA/CB/72/77 charging system can handle. It struggles with the stock 35W lamp. What's really needed is an LED conversion that draws less than 35W.

You misunderstand, Tim. Only the H4 bulb adapters (bases) from the kit were used, not one of the bulbs provided. I used an LED bulb.
