Speedo drive?

Can you tell the difference visually between the later speedo drives (for anti clockwise speedo) and the earlier clockwise ones as mine came with an early drive and late speedo.

What year did they change?

Turn the wheel and look at the output of the speedo drive or the cable end.. It should rotate the same direction as the speedo needle.

I think the speedo changed in 65’ but LM or seadog might know the exact year.

Changed at bike number 1001731 which would be 1965. ..................lm

Is there any difference externally on the drive as people selling on ebay do not usually distinguish or know there are different drives?
