Parting out a '64-'65 CB77

Post by Steveo123 » Thu Oct 12, 2017 8:34 am

Hey everyone;

I recently acquired a '66 CB77 in pretty good shape and went about restoring it. As part of the project, I also obtained a '64 or '65 CB77 that was in pretty bad shape to scavenge any needed parts for the '66. This is a black Superhawk.

I'm now done with the project, and have a number of parts from the older bike (e.g. rusty wheels, front forks and fork covers, rear shocks, mid-rise handlebar (but a little different-has a horizontal bar like a scrambler type bar), a side cover (can't recall which side, but I believe it's the left), tappet covers, oil pump from bottom of engine, top engine cover with the spring-loaded fastener and bracket, original wiring harness, brake light switch, rear fender, foot pegs/brackets, grease fittings, gas tank rubber, headlight bucket, headlight ring, and of course the frame/subframe itself). I have the lower engine case, including the crank and xmission, but have not opened it to determine the condition. Some of the parts are in pretty good shape, while others are somewhat rusty, but all are serviceable.

Please just let me know if you need any of the aforementioned parts (or others- I have others, and will be happy to look!).

I'm not looking for "EBay prices" on these things, just something very reasonable and fair. My intent is not to make a big profit, but to cover my efforts/postage, and to "pay if forward" to anyone in need of these parts.

Feel free to post here or PM me; I'll be happy to check on anything else as well.

Hi Alan;

I no longer have the switch; sorry about that! Hopefully, I'll have some things folks need!

Regards,

Stephen

Hi sinjinle;

By tray, do you mean the metal piece that bolts to the frame, or the rubber tray that is placed under the battery? I have the metal part, but not the rubber part.
