fuel/starting issue

after trying and considering the above. I think it is the fuel petcock. I think I will order a new aftermarket one and install. if it fires up, that should identify the problem. then I can work on fixing and reinstalling the original.

thanks for the advice. got her going? new petcock fixed leak, but as mentioned all this revealed was a problem with the points/ timing. just got her going and took first shakedown ride! first time on the move since the 70's. now for the speedometer fix....
