cb72/77 Exhaust Baffle

Post by Billiam » Mon Jun 26, 2017 3:36 am

Pulled the baffles out a while back to check they were clear. One crumbled to dust. Ordered a new pattern one from David Silver. Didn't think much of the look of it, plus it fitted like prick in a top hat, as we used to say. Result was that out on a VVMC run yesterday she went off song and got very noisy. Some miles later we stopped for a break and yes the damned thing had vibrated it's way out, tightly bolted in as well it was. So if you see one in a ditch in Buckinghamshire you can have it. Meantime I'm hoping that one of the Brothers has a servicable one that I could purchase or make a donation via paypal to a charity of your choice.
I really don't want another pattern one if I can help it.
Muchos Grathias Amigos.
Rob. UK.

Thanks Richard. They do look good on his web site. Have emailed for an estimate of postage costs.
Thanks again Rob.
P.S. Suppose I wouldn't have to pay any Australian tax. It's +20% here.

Done deal. On the way over.
Typically, there are some on Ebay States side now. Cheers.

Tim is in the USA, but you will almost certainly pay VAT and a large contribution to the Royal Mail on arrival.

Hi Rob and Mal,

Yes Tim is in the USA, not Aus.

Postage for us in Aus from USA is pretty high but zero tax if item is deemed less than $1000.00 value.

Hope it works out OK for you in the UK.

Regards

Richard
