Hi, I have a ca77 that takes the long, thin battery. Is there any other batteries available that fit the battery box perfectly other than the Wisco batteries sold on Ebay? Thanks Frank

Thanks for the reply G man. I should have mentioned that I don't want to alter anything including the original hold down bracket. I was hoping that someone would be reproducing these batteries by now. It would be nice to find a gel battery to fit perfectly. Oh well, wish in one hand and crap in the other they say. Thanks Frank

Hi Frank

It's a bummer about these batteries. No-one seems to be making a replacement so a little improvisation is necessary.

Usually you can find the Wisco JB-2 on eBay. I just looked and none were listed, but I did find this:

You could try looking at the Shorai LFX Lithium Iron Battery range. I don't suppose for a minute you'll find one dimensionally identical to your original but, size for size, these batteries are so powerful that I'm sure you'll find one that will fit easily into the space available and still have more capacity that the original, they are expensive though but supposedly have an appreciably longer service life than anything else.

From what I understand these are sensitive to high voltage so, unless you have installed a regulator in the system, I would think twice before using one.
