What is a Honda 300?What is a Honda 300?Excuse my ignorance, I recently came across a Honda 300 Dream titled as a 1968 model. I am familiar with the 250/305 variants and maybe this is an obvious question - what is the 300?
I am looking for restoration parts and want to be sure of what I am tracking down. What would the number be? CA/C/77 ?? I only have the engine here but can look at the frame number if that would help. Finally, the engine is stuck, I cannot get the pistons to move. Transmission is free, primary chain loose and so on but the pistons (or maybe the crankshaft) will not let the engine turn over to the point where I can remove the cam chain and get to the issue. Hard as a rock. Thanks I look forward to all the great knowledge I will soak up on this site!

If you pull the cam chain tensioner assembly and the oil pump off, you might get lucky and find the master link by one of the holes. If that doesn't work you can pull the camshafts out and the cam sprocket will drop far enough to move the chain.
