Original tires in 1963

my original 1964 dream has the original nittos on it ... when i found the bike it was untouched with only 1035 miles on it ... they still ride nice, i replaced the tubes

My 1967 Dream has the Nittos with the narrow whitewall like the ones you have in the pic.

I finally took pics of the names on my original 1965 OHTSU Small Whitewall tires, at least I am pretty sure they are the originals. Odometer shows only 4,752 miles. Speedo Cable is broken though. It was rode until 1971.

Sure looks original. They must have used more than one supplier.

I just got a nice repo speedo cable from Scrambler Cycle (http://www.scramblercycle.com/) in WI.

Japanese made and reasonably price.

Thanks for the advice and funny thing is; I too just bought one from him in Dec. Although I have not put it on yet due to it being TOO COLD to work on the bike.
