Wanted: CL77 stator cover

Post by barnbiketom » Wed Mar 15, 2017 5:14 pm

I'm looking for a decent CL77 stator cover, the small three holed one.
my bike is not a restoration, but a rider, so a perfect one is not necessary.
I can do wonders by sanding and polishing, but would like one that is not severely dented and deeply gouged like mine...

I have a CA77 stator cover that I would give to you, but some yahoo dremeled one of the screws to get it out, leaving 4 small cuts in the cover. Otherwise, it's in great condition. I'll post a photo if you're interested. I don't know if the little cuts can be filled.

Seadog, I'm pretty sure he needs one for a CL77, CA cover won't fit. CL or CB cover are the same.

barnbike, please clarify which bike you need this for in case someone is not familiar with your thread.

I deeply appreciate the offer and due to my dumbness didn't say it is a CL77... Again thanks and I edited my post!!

May I ask where you're located, barnbiketom? I do have a CB77 stator cover that you might have, but it does have a very small dent in it. I think it could easily be pushed out, however. I'll post a pic if you'd like to see it.

I am in NW PA. Halfway between Erie and Pittsburgh. Zip 16142. Let me know the total with shipping.. you can send a pic but I know it will be perfect compared to mine. half of it pushed in..Not a dent but rather a gorge with crevices for scratches!!!
I went into my profile thing and found the spot for location and updated it. I'm sorry it didn't show till now.
