splitting cases

Post by Mike Mullins » Wed Dec 05, 2007 7:19 pm

I am now at the point of splitting the cases on my CB 77. This particular job has given me fits on every bike I have worked on. Is there a way to go about this that will make it easier ? ( by the way, I have looked and looked to make sure that I have all the nuts and bolts off. Been there, done that.) Any suggestions will be appreciated. Or am I doomed to just going around and around the cases with rubber hammer till my wife puts an end to the noise in the basement.
