CA77 Rear Wheel Bearings RRCA77 Rear Wheel Bearings RRHow difficult is it to remove and replace the bearings and seals on a CA77 rear wheel?
How are the old bearings removed and the new inserted? Thanks for any information. Bob Bob
You can pop out the seals with a large flat blade screwdriver. There is a spacer tube between the two bearings and you need to displace that so that you can put a long drift in from the opposite side and tap the bearing out using drift on the inner race. Warm up the hub (around the bearing) with a hot air gun and the bearing will come out easier. When you put the new bearings in warm up th ehub again and tap the bearing in using only the outer race. Do not apply any force to the inner race as that can damage the bearing. http://www.cmsnl.com/honda-ca77-1960-19 ... ml#results G '60 C77 '60 C72 '62 C72 Dream '63 CL72
