How to check coil on a 305 dream

I replied that HONDA DREAM did have a round coil before HONDA changed to a sort of cast coil which HONDA used forever after it was introduced. .....................lm

Off the top of my head I think the primary resistance should be between 3 and 5 Ohms. Secondary I am not sure but I think it should be around 10K to 20K Ohms.

I did clean the points with a business card and no effect. I maybe leaning toward a carb problem again. May start looking for another carb I am running out of options.
