http://www.maplin.co.uk/module.aspx?ITA ... y=2m8#spec

part # KBPC3501, £1.79,

For worldwide RS search

click your continent/country & search out

395-4332

USA has different RS part numbers to the rest of the world, it seems.

Good luck!

Or, for the purist: http://olypen.com/retro/31700-259-030.htm

No one will ever know it's not original.

Nice one PC, that looks the mutt's nuts! I'd be interested to find out what current capability it has (the anorak in me, I'm afraid!); there's no tech-spec on the page. Good site tho'.

I put their CB77 rectifier in mine and have no trouble running headlights full time. I don't see why you couldn't e-mail them and ask. They're pretty good folks.

Hi, does anyone know how to get ahold of one of the RetroCycle 'looks like the original' style rectifiers for a CB77? Also, has anyone used one and does is perform the same as the 40 amp generic style units?

I had bad luck with one from RetroCycle. It did not work, but it fit perfect and looked good. From my reading I have been the only one to have a bad one from them (must be my luck). I solved my problem with a bridge rectifier from RadioShack for under $5.00 read further down in the forms for more information. I have put over 2000 miles with RadioShacks rectifier on and all running with headlights on.
