Seadog

I did get some pistons for my 1961 CB72. They have a lot of stuff but not a lot that I need, unfortunately.

I always try to save things if I can, but I just purchased a NOS one with bracket from a dealer in the UK that is clearing out some stuff.

You did well. Lots of stuff there. I wonder if large parts houses like CMS jump on those types of sales.

Hello. If I might chime in, there are two bolts holding the bracket of your flasher to the frame. Remove those and take the flasher out. You probably already know you have to remove your air cleaner to get in there. Once you have the flasher in your hand and the wire harness disconnected you can carefully bend back the three metal tabs that hold the barrel innards in place. Carefully withdraw the guts of it all and have at it.

Good for us in Europe, I suppose. Not so good for guys in the US. I wonder if they'll run into the same problem that David Silver did? There may be a CMS in the United States, soon......

Jeff

Spot on. There's no such thing as a sealed unit to an enquiring mind........ :-)

To answer the question on 6v and 12v flasher units. It might just work but, at best, the flash rate will be all wrong.
