Carb rebuild kit warning

Post by pdphillips54 » Wed Apr 13, 2016 9:41 pm

Several sellers on Ebay are offering a Napco rebuild kit, marked for a CB 72/77. Kit #11-H0018. What they don't say is that the slow jet (35), main jet (100, 105 and 160) and jet needle are for a 72, not a 77. The gaskets and other parts will work for both a 72 and 77. If you need the jets and needle, you may want to look elsewhere unless you can get for a very good price.

I'll probably return. What brands/suppliers have others used that are good quality?

I offer a kit that works for either the CB77 or CL77. It includes a variety of jets and 2 jet needles for tuning. I went to the manufacturer and had them put these together with the parts I specified.
