30 or 32 tooth 520 rear sprocket30 or 32 tooth 520 rear sprocketI am looking for a 30 or 32 tooth 520 rear sprocket to use on my CB77 cafe bike. I alraedy have front sprockets and chain . I'd love to find an aluminum one, but steel would do. Anyone have one for sale? Know where to find one? Thanks in advance.

Re: 30 or 32 tooth 520 rear sprocketAny special you want a 520 rather than a 530? 530 is the standard chain and sprocket for that bike. ....................lm
Thanks for the replys! I have 5 NOS front sprockets, and a brand new chain, all in 520. Also figured it's a bit lighter, and 520 should be plenty strong, as my 50 horsepower dirt bike uses a 520. I am doing a cafe bike, and concentrating on weight as much as possible. Here's apic of where it's at. The sprockets that I have are all labeled CB / CA 72. DId the 72s use 520 ?

Bike looks good. Thanks for the info cause I wondered why the 520 chain. The CL72 does use a 520 chain. ......................lm
Dave, The cafe/race bike looks great! It reminds me of the project I have buried in my shop, and makes me feel bad I haven't found time to get to mine. Good luck with your project. BTW Classic said 520 was the right chain for a CB77. Does he mean a racing set-up? cause it sure as hell isn't stock . Then again I always thought 530 was over kill too. Steve(kustommusic) Greer
Yeah, 530 is standard, and overkill in my opinion as well. I wanted to do a cafe Superhawk, after doing a few stock restorations. I rebuilt the engine basically stock, with 1.00 over Wiseco pistons, and Xed the trans gears. I figured leaving the engine stock, and shedding 50 + pounds on the bike would be the best way to improve performance. I am currently running velocity stacks, which look awsome, but may change to K&Ns to increase reliability. I will post more pics as the bike comes along. I need tires, and a WM3 shoulered rear rim to match the MW2 Borrani front. I will order the 30 tooth 520 sprocket on Monday. I have taken it for a couple rides up the street, and am still trying to sort out the jetting.
