Go to an Autozone and look at replacement sump (oil pan) plugs, as Dianne says a few $

Thank You Everyone. I'm not going to waste any more time waiting for my second puller to show up. I'll just go get a 16mm 1.5 bolt. This little problem has been holding me up for a couple weeks. Sadly, I've had to fill the time by riding my new CB1100.

Puller Solution and Starter Mechanism Question

Post by Steverino » Tue Feb 02, 2016 11:27 am

The axle bolts do not fit the flywheel threads. I checked my CB160 axles and they don't fit either.

No hardware stores around here carrry a 16mm 1.5 pitch bolt.

At the suggestion of jas67 I ordered this puller It arrived lastnight and is exactly what I needed. Thank you jas67!

I know I already have one of these for my CB160's, their flywheel is smaller but the shaft is the same size, but I can't find it.

Starter Clutch Rebuild Question
Do I put any kind of lube on my new rollers? I bought new rollers, caps and springs.
Thank You
Steve

I just put a wee dab of grease on each one just to hold them in place while I get it on the shaft.
