It looks like it might be a long process!
It is definitely running rich, no I have adjusted it as much as possible withe idle and mixture screws.
A dyno sounds good, but the guy who helped with the restoration is going to take a look in the new year, so hope he can sort it. Will have to get plenty of jets as you say!

These are the numbers as they came out of the box: 160 main, cutaway throttle valve 3, 106 Pilot, standard Amal needle (I think in the middle position). Now this was before I went with the 358cc big bore kit, the ported and polished head, 5 speed transmission etc, and we changed to the 2.5 slide. I'm pretty sure the main went up quite a bit, but I'll see if John (my mechanic) can remember what he all did. It has been a few years!
