1966 305 scrambler/ dream scrocket set

Will a scrambler sprocket set fit a ca77 dream? I know the teeth are different, dream is 29 for rear and 16 for the front. and the scrambler is 34 for rear and 13 for the front.would the chain be different? the reason I am asking is I found a new nos set for a good price. thanks Mike

Chain size is different. 525 for CA77 and 530 for CL77. As far as the holes that mount the rear sprocket I imagine they wouldn't line up, but can't say for sure since I don't have a CA77 rear hub to compare.

I thought the CL was a 520 chain.
Would the larger sprocket even fit in the CA chain case and a quick calculation showed the gearing would be way different, the wheel sizes are 3" different.

He asked for 305 Scrambler which is 530. The CL72 250 is 520 chain, which changed to 530 at CL72-4003062. CL77 didn't come out until 1965.

Thanks HT for one minute I thought my CL72 had the wrong chain.
