This is the second bike I've seen with this - any insights as to what/where this system came from? Same for seat?

Would you suppose the feller used 2 left side pipes?. .........lm

I just looked at a LS pipe and think it can be done but a lot of work required.
Cut, bend, weld.
Back in the days that set up other than the mufflers was available. .....................lm
