I used a windshield wiper rubber, windshield side into the slot, held in by black silicone.

Rubber seal??? Hmmm... where is that? on the "tool tray" OR the side cover (with bolt Knob) itself? I looked in the parts book... but didn't see anything.

My mistake, I just looked, that's what I did on the right side cover. The left side has round bumpers. Mine are original, but they do show in the parts book, if these aren't available, something similar is available for automotive and probably could be adapted.

OK... now I SEE that both side covers use the rubber "bumper" called 50391-250-010 Rubber Tool Box Shock Proof It also shows in the parts book that TWO are used on the left side and only ONE on the right cover.

PARTS #7 & #4 -PAGES #167 & 252 this looks like a rubber bumper used on the right AND left side covers)

However, I still don't see a rubber "Seal". Maybe that was used on the CB77??

The right cover only fits the CA, not the CB or CL. I don't see any place for the bumper in the parts book to fit on mine. Only thing I can think of is there are two different covers- one with the slot for the early clutch cable, which I have, which has the slot around the top half or so for the seal- and the later one without the slot which I haven't seen, maybe it uses the bumper?
