G,

The tested ring is new and tested at the bottom of the cylinder. Here are the results of all 3 rings at 1/4 inch from the top:

Cylinder 1:

Oil ring: .026 or .65mm
Second ring: .026 or .65mm
Top ring: .024 or .60mm

Cylinder 2:

Oil ring: .028 or .70mm
Second ring: .026 or .65mm
Top ring: .026 or .65mm

Old rings, cylinder 2:

Oil ring: .028 or .70mm
Second ring: .026 or .65mm
Top ring: .026 or .65mm

Those figures are 0.15-0.35mm with a repair limit of 0.8mm

Max wear is normally at the top. Try the bottom and compare the two.

Before I get flamed, the furthest I've gone with these sleeves is deglaze them. The second time I've done it was 2 hours ago.

The bore for both sleeves, and with my cheap harbor freight digital caliper is 2.36in or 60mm.

Oh boy. Honda says they need to be 53.99-54.00mm. I'm 6mm off.

Well, since the new Pistons were $300, Anyone have 54mm cylinder sleeves?

Whoops, I was looking at the wrong specs. Here's what I have and here's what Honda says about what I have...

Just as I started to feel smart, I see the * in the repair manual and have no idea what it means
(And then i read the top of the manual page)
