65 ca77 solenoid repair

i tried starting my bike with the starter button and the solenoid made a clicking sound so is that a sign its broke?or can they be repaired

Check your battery.

the battery is being charged,i tried starting it hooked up to the battery while its charging thats when the solenoid made the clicking sound
