Gas tank side covers/ best polish

Hello ,anyone know of polish to take light scratches out of gas tank side covers. thanks

If the scratches go through the chrome plate then you cannot get rid of the scratch without removing the chrome around the scratch.

Pretty much depends on how severe the scratch is.
If not to bad Chrome Polish may help. ............lm
