Got the cover off finally used a impact driver. When I pull in the clutch lever the clutch plates move in and out together. Everything looks good and very very clean if that means anything. Still have the clutch failing to engage to let the bike out of gear.

Do the plates separate when you pull the clutch lever? Plates shouldn't stick together.

Does not appear so, they all move in and out together. Its like one single unit moving in and out when the clutch lever is pulled.

I recommend you remove the 4 bolts which hold the pressure plate.
Remove the pressure plate and take all the friction/steel plates from the clutch outer case.
You should find that there are 2/3 wires holding the last parts and you will need to pinch the ends and push the ends out of the case.
Clean all parts with what ever you have used to this time but Do Not Use CARB. cleaner. .................lm

Well gentleman I removed the clutch and it came off in one complete solid lump. Cleaned it up and put it back on this morning.. Appears to work good. Thank you for taking the time to give input to a new guy.....steve
