al i tried pulling on the tire all seemed ok but that doesn't mean it's ok.should i take it apart to make sure.all i did was take off the tighting knob off to paint.this is my first dream so everything is alien to me.

Use the link below. Bookmark it. At that page you'll find the breakdown diagrams for all the subassemblies. In particular, you want the one labeled "Front Fork-Front Fender". I suspect that your stem nut is loose and the steering damper was keeping it all together. When you loosened it, the steering bearings fell out.

Do a search on this site for "Dream steering bearings". They are 1/4" diameter and you need 37 of them - 18 in the top race and 19 in the bottom. You also need to get some manuals. Some are free online. If I can find some links, I'll post them for you.

SeaDog your the best that web site has it all every diagram i could ask for i sure wish i had know about it earlyer,oh well better now than never.thanks for everything

There are some free manuals at the link below. Save them. Depending on what you intend to do with your bike, you might also consider investing in the Silvers restoration guides, but I'd recommend that you buy them directly from Mr. Silvers at http://www.vintagehonda.com.

well SeaDog you really helped me out,thxs for the info. on the manuals and Mr Silvers is the best for them.
