305 Cylinder sleeves

Post by fletchtim » Tue Apr 24, 2012 6:34 pm

I purchased a box of parts at an auction of a Honda motorcycle dealer that included two cylinder sleeves in the brown anti rust paper, there was no part number but 305 was written on the paper. Was there a replaceible sleeve on the 305 motor?

My very first bike was a CL72 the 250 scrambler, great bike, really was the smoothest i've ever owned.

Yes, both the 250 and 305 motors had removable cast-iron sleeves as you describe. If you want to sell them, send me a PM.

Digging up an old post, I still have these, if someone is intrested, i'll measure and send drawing of what they actually are. What would they be worth?
