Sprocket cam balance weights?

The two cam halves need to be inserted fully in the sprocket and held with the two tapers. The cam sprocket needs to be perfectly in line with the crankshaft sprocket and the two outer bearings must not be outside the joint face that seals the two end castings. If they do you will have oil leaks at those locations.

I found that upon re-assembly, the left & right side cam-covers, (taco L/side, points R/side) have raised lips that centralise the cam bearings/camshaft once fitted.
