Pre War Ford Production at the Rouge

Post by Steverino » Fri Sep 04, 2015 10:10 pm

I see people posting about soccer so I am going to post this 1930's documentary of automobile production at Henry Ford's Rouge River Plant.
Lowell Thomas, the man who made With Allenby in Palestine and Lawrence in Arabia narrates. Also, there is a wonderful music score throughout. I am a little embarrassed to admit this, but I've watched this hundreds of times over the years, sometimes I play it in my shop while I'm working. I really enjoy watching it

Steve

Thanks for sharing that. I picked up a great book about Henry Ford and have been to the Museum a couple of times. Fascinating character and am,azing vision.

G Man you've been to more places in the United States than I have. I have to wait four more years before my wife retires then we are going to travel. I want to go to the Hershey Swap Meet at least one time.
