cant find part number for cb77 kick starter shaft oil seal

Post by apophis » Sat Feb 16, 2013 4:13 pm

I have looked over various microfiche diagrams of the CB77. I cannot find the part number for the oil seal for the kick started shaft.

its the oil seal pressed into the case on the splined kick starter shaft.

Most diagrams do not show the right side of the engine case.

can someone help me out with this p/n? the link that mike posted is now dead. the shop manual does not show this part. i am looking for the seal that goes into the case for the kick spline, not the seal in the cover. although judging by the dimensions listed above it sounds identical in size to the shifter seal on the other side cover. thanks!

YOU GUYS ARE FAST! i guess that sounds reasonable.... assuming #19 slides through 27. clearly i haven't had this stuff in my hands yet or id know what im talking about. i must be spoiled by my 90s and 2000s factory service manuals because these honda books leave a lot to the imagination.

with that said.... YOU JUST CANT BEAT THIS! 9 seals for the price of like 2. im in!
