i put my extra ccw cb77 speedo cluster on my 1981 cx500 racer project... just needed to flip the drive gear on my front wheel ...

Nice! That looks awesome!

Yeah, my bike isn't numbers matching so I plan on doing some minor customizations...but the original speedo/headlight combo just looks too good to put anything else on the bike. It'd just be wrong.

G-Man yeah I've been hunting around on ebay but most of them are pretty battered or pretty expensive given the condition. Or at least the ones I've seen so far...

Look for one with a cracked glass. They are undesirable and go for less money. If you are handy you can find another with good glass and bezel but with broken innards.

Be patient and you'll get what you need. Patience is more valuable than money in this game.
