SHIFT LEVER?????????????????

Post by LOUD MOUSE » Wed Jul 29, 2015 7:41 pm

Anyone know what bike this part was issued with?
Part # 24701-282-000.
It has the hole for what I would think is for a shift rod assy. ...........................lm

OK;great photo and uptake on the part. now, what is that linkage actually doing? inquiring minds want to know. I can't figure it out.

You can see it in the picture if you look close. Heel -toe shift lever. The hole under the pivot connects to a linkage. Its kind of like the CB77 setup.

OK now I get it. funny that they would have thought that police would have needed a heel/toe shift. I'll bet that it was a response to the other makes bidding on police sale with that type of shifter. (Harley, etc).
