Are CA77 and CA76 frame parts interchangeable?

I think you mean CA77 and CA78. The answer is generally yes but early CA77s had different gas tanks and other parts.

CA76?

Thanks G-Man,
I keep seeing ca76 parts on ebay and a search led me to this thread which led me to believe that the ca76 did in fact exist.

There was a C76 with a dry sump 305 engine that preceded the C77 and CA77 but I've never seen a CA76. I would be interested to see one if there are any in existence. The C76 had pressed steel handlebars and the frame world have been different in detail as it had an oil tank on the side of the frame.

I don't think any C76 or CA76 would have been made after 1960 so the sell on eBay selling parts for a 1965 CA76 is probably mistaken.

I have a 1960 C77-A which preceded the CA77 and had the high bars. I also have a 1960 C72 with the pressed bars.

Thanks again G-Man,
The seller accepts returns so I'll buy the part I'm looking at and if it's nor right back it goes.
