neutral light vs high beam indicator

Post by apeonwheels » Sat Jun 06, 2015 11:37 am

Hi folks,
I`m struggling with the wiring system and bumped into a problem. I have this blue light bulb in the headlight bucket which I thought is the high beam indicator but it`s most likely the neutral lamp. My question is then what is the other lamp in the speedometer ( i have two sockets) which I thought originally to be the neutral light? Could anyone enlighten me? Thanks!

Blue light on the headlight shell is neutral.
If your speedo unit has a small red light at 12 o'clock that is the high beam indicator, and the underside will have 3 sockets. Two for illiumination and one for high beam.

Ok, thanks, I think it`s clear now. I have only two sockets underside though.
