Side stand length

Post by Woodsie » Mon May 25, 2015 6:44 pm

My CA77 appears to lean more than should when on the side stand. Not having seen another Dream it may be correct, or are there different lengths of sidestands on different models?

What size tires do you have? Oversize will cause extra lean.
Also bending from abuse will cause the same.
They all are the same length as far as I know.

Your welcome....many of the used bikes I have had suffered the same problem.

I usually keep a small block of wood in the saddlebags with me for that very reason, as well as when I have to park in a soft area.

Another symptom I have seen too is the bolt hole wearing oval from a damaged/loose bolt.
