I recently picked up a duro hf308 3.5x19 for the rear of my scrambler at my local parts unlimited dealer. Duro actually offers some pretty cool "retro" looking patterns at a pretty cheap price. They offer a ton of different sizes too!

The CL72 used the DUNLOP UNIVERSAL as did the CL77 until apx. 1966 when the brand but not the tread was changed to BRIDGSTONE UNIVERSAL.
Near the end of CL77 production the raised lettering (BRIDGESTONE UNIVERSAL) was white.
The K70 tread wasn't issued on the CL72 or CL77 by HONDA.
The CB72 /77 used OTSU in the early years. .....................lm

Thanks Ed , I couldn't remember what was on the later bikes, figured if I just threw something out there I could stir you up enough to give us the info.

Not to worry.
Back then if we wore out the UNIVERSALS we did by the K70 as it gave a smoother ride on the pavement.
Not so much vibration. ................lm

These look interesting.
There are tube type ones in 18".
3.00 - 18 M/C 47S front, 3.25 - 18 M/C 52S rear. (Just 0.25 bigger than stock.)

The Heidenau tires in 2.75-18 and 3.00-18 work well and look the part. I have sold many sets for use on the CB77.

As far as the CL's go, its tough to find a 3.00x19 tire these days. I use Dunlop K70's in a 3.25x19 in the front and 3.50x19 in the rear.
