Simple answer for the drop in price, it's an error.........they didn't make any in 1968. 1967 was the last year of production. They were replaced by the newly introduced CL350s in 1968. As far as the welded guppy muffler that appeared sometime in 1966.

Ok, I'm a show bike purist. Forget about out-of-year paint and fancy seats. Showroom new is the way for me. If I could just find a way to take a Sunday ride and not disturb those little new-tire spikes ...
