Thanks for asking about that - I didn't know what it was for either, since I don't have the carb covers yet.

Now, could LM or someone else identify the other bracket in the photo. I can't find reference to it in the parts list and I don't have one. Thanks!

That's for the valley cover pan to fasten to on Hawks and Scramblers. Dreams don't have them as they have the carb dust covers.
