Folding foot pegs

Post by carabener » Sat Feb 14, 2015 8:59 am

Don't buy them if you don't like them, now that's real democracy eh?
There are different pics in that ad, you picked out one, so what's your point?
I think I wrote a great ad, why don't you include the ad copy too?
Besides, if you want to spend 4 times that amount you can put on scrambler pegs,
they are perfect for CB77's and only cost $60.00 (US) in good condition used.
And the folding pegs can be modified to fit perfect in the folding scrambler mounts.
I don't set the shipping costs international, ebay does. What do you think it cost to ship a 1.5 pound (US) to the UK in a small flat rate box?
Over the last 15 years I've been at ebay, many people have been delighted with these folding pegs.
Many happy people at this site have bought from me. I try to create solutions to problems a 50-year CB77 owner like myself has encountered. Criticisms are easy. Anyone can master that.
I heard lots at my Honda dealership in the 60's and 70's, 80's.
Also please note the difference between, literal, figurative, and innuendo, in writing, knowing these terms will help you get through. I've built a strong following at ebay with many repeat buyers who find my writing, fun, insightful, and in good humor (Their complements are always welcome).
I have been a HUGE SUPPORTER of this site in many of my ebay ads over the years, suggesting people come here, even buy Bill Silver's wonderful service manuals and support this site et al. How many of you have written Michael Stoic to thank him and compliment him on his wonderful living riding CB77 experiences and stories which he writes beautifully about from his heart.
Go sell on ebay if you think it's so easy. Try making it there for 15 years like I have.
cheers

Ouch, strike a nerve, did we?
I'm fine with whatever you want to put on e-bay, I just take issue with the letters "NOS" in the title. That suggests that these are genuine Honda parts, which they are not.

NOS means new-old-stock = like 10-25+ year old products, accessories et al.
ANYTHING old... NOT JUST HONDA.
OEM -you should know what that means.
Now Mike let's try NOS OEM
Nowhere in my ad did I say these were Honda OEM products.
I did say nos AFTERMARKET pegs.

new old stock
Definition: Websters business dictionary
Items purchased but never used and still in their original packaging. Also called new unused stock or surplus stock.

Carabener,

You should try putting a little honey on those foot pegs. You will probably catch more flies than you will with that whip in you hand (and words).
