Honda green?

Was this an original Honda color for Scramblers? I have one that is the same color and have seen another one.

As far as I know the only color for tanks and panels was silver for the early bikes then candy blue or gold(?) for the late bikes.

Maybe what you have there is just silver that has been affected by the sunlight? Perhaps even aged lacquer over silver?

Silver on all early bikes then candy blue and candy orange on the last production run.

Honda Emerald Green?

Post by conbs » Mon Nov 24, 2014 12:40 am

Thanks for the replies, guys. I know for the early Dreams there were some unusual colors. In addition to red, blue and black seats there was scarlet, light blue and yellow. G man has a very early Dream that may be the "scarlet" frame/tank color.

My Scrambler is a '65 and I didn't know if the anyone had owned a CL72 in that same green. Based on no confirmations, it appears not.
